Privacy Policy

Certifi360 ("Certifi360," "we," "us," or "our") is a certification exam-prep service operated by Category 3 Partners, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Certifi360 website (certifi360.com), web app (app.certifi360.com), and mobile apps (together, the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address and any name you provide when you create an account.
  • Purchase information — when you buy access, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment and billing details. We do not receive or store full card numbers; we receive a confirmation, the amount, and a payment identifier.
  • Learning activity — your study progress, such as questions answered, scores, streaks, and exam-simulation results, so the Service can track mastery and your money-back guarantee status.
  • Technical data — basic logs such as IP address, device/browser type, and timestamps, used for security and to operate the Service.
  • Support communications — messages you send us at support@certifi360.com.

How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your account.
  • To process purchases, calculate applicable taxes, and administer the money-back guarantee.
  • To send transactional messages (e.g., account, purchase, and progress notices).
  • To send marketing messages only where permitted — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every marketing email.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers and partners that help us operate and market the Service, including:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting, database, and authentication (Amazon Cognito).
  • Stripe — payment processing and tax calculation.
  • Maileroo — sending transactional and marketing email.
  • Instantly.ai and its analytics partners — visitor analytics on our public marketing website, which may collect IP address, device and browser information, and page activity to help us understand visitor interest and support our marketing outreach, including recognizing business visitors. These tags run on the marketing site only, not in the study app.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or in connection with a business transfer. Our providers may process data in the United States.

Your email choices

Transactional emails are part of the Service. Marketing emails are optional — every one includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops marketing email without affecting your account.

Data retention, account deletion, and recovery

We keep your information while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing support@certifi360.com. When you delete your account, we disable it and remove your personal data and learning history within 30 days, during which you may recover the account by signing back in or contacting us. We retain limited transaction records (for example, purchase amount, date, and identifiers) as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes even after deletion. If you have unexpired paid access, your purchase entitlement may be restored if you return within its term.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EEA/UK (GDPR) have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email support@certifi360.com; we will verify your identity and respond as required by law.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and other safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. Our marketing website also uses cookies and similar technologies for the visitor analytics described under How we share information. Transactional emails are sent without open/click tracking.

Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@certifi360.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Effective" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
