Who can take the AAISM™ exam?
Only professionals who hold an active CISSP® or active CISM®. There's no independent work-experience path.
Do I need both CISSP® and CISM® to qualify?
No. Either one qualifies on its own.
Exam format

How long is the AAISM™ exam?
150 minutes for 90 questions.
What score do I need to pass?
450 or higher, on a scaled range of 200 to 800.
What topics does the exam cover?
Three domains: AI Governance & Program Management (31%), AI Risk Management (31%), and AI Technologies and Controls (38%).
Where can I take the exam?
At a PSI test center or via remote online proctoring.
How long do I have to schedule the exam after registering?
Six months from registration.

How much does AAISM™ cost overall?
Budget around $1,000 at ISACA member rates for the exam, application fee, and ISACA's own review materials. Certifi360's prep is a separate one-time $497.
Does the Certifi360 fee include the ISACA exam fee?
No. Certifi360's $497 covers the prep platform only. The ISACA exam fee is paid separately, directly to ISACA.

No. AAISM™ requires an active CISM® or CISSP® to register, so it's an addition to one of those credentials, not a replacement or alternative.
Is AAISM™ the same as ISO/IEC 42001?
No. AAISM™ certifies a person through an exam. ISO/IEC 42001 certifies an organization's AI management system through an audit.
